Name: Annalise "Anna" Blythe
History: Daughter of prestigious Unovan knight Norman Blythe, Annalise has wanted to be a knight all her life. Her dream was consistently shot down by her father though, who repeatedly told her that war was no place for a girl, that war was only death and suffering and that she should try to stay as far away as possible. They had frequent arguments about it, and every single time, she was forbidden to leave her home in quiet Mistralton in favor of joining the Warriors Guild.
Thair last argument ended with her father conceding after a brief fit of anger, during which he told her, "I've told you the risks, and you refuse to listen--If you go off to war, you can't complain if you return home missing a finger or a limb or an eye."
The next day, she was already on her way to Castelia, and to the Guild.
Personality: Headstrong and incredibly stubborn, it's very difficult to get her to change her mind once she's set on something, no matter how outrageous or ludicrous the idea. No matter how grown-up she tries to act, she's still a kid, and she has no actual knowledge of the horrors of war, despite what her father has told her.
Extra: She talked her father into teaching her how to use a bow and arrow, and has gotten pretty proficient with it over the years, though she isn't quite an expert. She's also somewhat skilled with a knife, and a very VERY good climber. Her strategy tends to involve getting up to high places and out of her opponents' reach, and picking them off from above with her arrows, only coming down if her quiver was empty and she needed to retrieve her arrows.
Thalia/Mienfoo: Given to Annalise as a gift when she was young, she just as stubborn as her owner, but in a different way--the Mienfoo is determined and disciplined, and very focused on being as strong as possible. The Choice Scarf she wears grants her phenomenal movement speed, but limits her to only one move per fight, forcing her to carefully choose a single move to use. She is, however, rather ingenious in the way she uses them, and is still a force to be reckoned with.
Minerva/Aggron: Belonged to Annalise's father. He snuck the Aggron's pokeball into Annalise's belongings the night before she left, and entrusted the pokemon with his daughter's safety. Minerva has seen many battles, serving as a mount for Norman during his time serving the crown. Minerva is a tank and a bulldozer, specializing in knocking opponents down, clearing paths, and serving as a living shield--a task evidenced by the amount of scratches and scrapes on her armor. She cares strongly for Annalise, but like the girl's father, she did not agree with her decision to join the Guild, and does her best to keep any harm from coming to her.
Hermes/Pichu: Anna found Hermes skittering around in panic after the raid on the Academy, and took care of him until he calmed down. He's stuck around ever since! He's quick and crafty, but easy to scare. Anna doesn't mind him at all... until he accidentally shocks her (and himself) when he gets startled.
